In performing its regulatory function, ANCINE promotes actions aimed at the development of a competitive and harmonious audiovisual economy, with the purpose of ensuring that consumers have access to a wide diversity of content, formats and services.
Among these actions, two regulatory milestones have been fundamental over the last 15 years: the Screen Quota Policy in movie theaters and the implementation of the Pay-TV Law (Law 12,485/2011)
